Gyeonggi-do (Do = Province) consists of 31 cities and counties which surrounds Seoul. Each city has many famous & interesting attractions, some had registered as a World Heritage / World Cultural Heritages by UNESCO. You can see some parts of North Korea from some cities in Gyenggi-do, e.g. DMZ (Paju City) - which many tourists went to visit all year round.
More over, Gyeonggi-do is the center of Hallyu (Korean Wave).
Some famous Korea series / dramas & movies, e.g. Dae Jang Geum, Boys Over Flowers, You’re Beautiful, Secret Garden, My Love from the Star etc., were shoot in this province.
จังหวัดคยองกีประกอบด้วยเมือง 31 เมือง ซึ่งตั้งอยู่ล้อมรอบกรุงโซล แต่ละเมืองก็มีแหล่งท่องเที่ยวที่สำคัญ บางเมืองมีมรดกทางวัฒนธรรมที่มีคุณค่ามากมาย ซึ่งหลาย ๆ สถานที่ถูกจัดให้เป็นมรดกโลก (UNESCO World Cultural Heritages) มีพรมแดนติดต่อกับประเทศเกาหลีเหนือ รวมถึงเขต DMZ ที่มีนักท่องเที่ยวให้ความสนใจไปเยี่ยมชมเป็นจำนวนมาก
คยองกียังเป็นจังหวัดที่มีกองถ่ายภาพยนตร์และละครโทรทัศน์ของเกาหลียกกองมาถ่ายทำหลายเรื่อง แต่ละเรื่องล้วนมีชื่อเสียงและเป็นที่รู้จักกันดีของแฟน ๆ ชาวไทย เช่น Dae Jang Geum, Boys Over Flowers, You’re Beautiful, Secret Garden, My Love from the Star เป็นต้น จังหวัดนี้จึงกลายเป็นศูนย์กลางของ Hallyu หรือ Korean Wave
